Exploration of Teachers' Strategies in Increasing Reading Interest of Class IV Students at SDN 3 Palangka Supervisor I Mitro, S.Pd., M.Si Supervisor II Santang, S.Pd., M.Hum Teacher strategies are very necessary in a learning process to increase students' interest in learning and reading. This research is to find out and describe related to teachers' strategies in increasing students' interest in reading. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection methods used are observation, interview, and document methods. The data analysis techniques used are in the form of data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that teachers have good creativity in increasing students' interest in reading (1) Teachers' strategies in increasing students' interest in reading are seen from the learning process by (a) Using the Question and Answer Method, group discussions, and explaining and practicing the subject matter (b) in the learning process teachers not only explain but also provide examples to students. (c) Teachers make plans before the learning process and conduct evaluations. (d) Some of the learning methods and strategies used by teachers are to increase interest in reading and attract learning interest in students. (2) Teachers' obstacles in increasing students' interest in reading are: (a) Different character and behavior of students. (b) Students who cannot read and count will have difficulty participating in learning activities. (c) Limited facilities and infrastructure. Some of these obstacles can hinder and hinder the course of a learning process.

Si This thesis examines the efforts of Hindu religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of Hindu students at SMAN-1 Uut Murung Kabupaten Murung Raya. Teacher efforts are efforts made by teachers as professional educators in educating, guiding, directing, and evaluate students by developing all their potential. Self-motivation to continue learning is very important for every Hindu student, because that motivation will inspire students to keep learning. Conversely, without motivation, students will find it difficult to understand the material that has been explained by the teacher. A motivation that is able to build and change one's behavior after getting motivation from others, because motivation is very important for Hindu students. Motivation is an interest or willingness to change a pattern in behavior (learning), so that something becomes interesting to learn. Based on this background, the thesis examines (1) the efforts of Hindu religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of Hindu students at SMAN-1 Uut Murung Kabupaten Murung Raya, South Barito Regency (2) Obstacles in the efforts of Hindu religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of Hindu students at SMAN-1 Uut Murung Kabupaten Murung Raya South Hamlet, South Barito Regency. This research method uses qualitative. Determination of purposive sampling technique informants. The data analysis technique was carried out through four stages, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study were assessed using behavioral theory (behavioristic), motivation theory, and constraint theory. The results of the research that were examined with the theory used stated that: (1) The efforts of Hindu religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of Hindu students at SMAN-1 Uut Murung Kabupaten Murung Raya, South Barito Regency in the learning process in the classroom with a series of planning and preparation covering methods, media and teaching materials in accordance with the 2013 curriculum book. The learning process consists of preliminary, core, and closing activities. The form of motivation given by the award given by the Hindu religious education teacher to Hindu students is in the form of a sentence of praise to study diligently, diligently and disciplinedly. In addition, Hindu students when interacting with teachers at school behave politely, responsibly, and devotedly to teachers and teachers of Hindu religious subjects: (2) Obstacles of Hindu religious education teachers in increasing the learning motivation of Hindu students found in the study, namely Hindu students passive during the learning process, still lacking in pronunciation to recite the Tri Sandya Puja prayer, not yet available media as learning support in the classroom such as LCD projectors, and the school environment is sometimes not effective, so that the focus of learning for Hindu students is disrupted.
