Abstrak
The research is entitled The Existence of Traditional Mantir Authority in the Implementation of Kaharingan Hindu Marriages in Tumbang Manggu Village, Sanaman Mantikei District, Katingan Regency. This research aims to determine the existence of the authority of the Traditional Mantir in carrying out marriages of Kaharingan Hinduism, the factors that influence the existence of the authority of the Traditional Mantir in carrying out marriages of Kaharingan Hinduism in Tumbang Manggu Village, Sanaman Mantikei District, Katingan Regency and the impact of the existence of the authority of the Traditional Mantir in carrying out marriages Kaharingan Hinduism in Tumbang Manggu Village, Sanaman Mantikei District, Katingan Regency. To answer these problems, this research used several theories, namely existentialism theory, legal effectiveness, and theory of linear/change. The research used a qualitative method that the research results will be described based on the findings. The research findings show the following results. 1. the existence of the authority of the Traditional Mantir in carrying out marriages for Kaharingan Hindus in Tumbang Manggu Village, Sanaman Mantikei District, Katingan Regency, can be seen at the pre-wedding time of Hakumbang Auh, Maja Misek, and Mananggar Janji. regarding the validity of marriages, the authority of the Traditional Mantir to carry out marriages lies in the implementation of Mutar Sangku and Manyaki Panganten, after the implementation of marriages the authority of the Traditional Mantir lies in the implementation of the Maruah Pali and Pakaja Manantu ceremonies, handling various types of marriages such as marriages resulting from out-of-wedlock pregnancy and Saruk/Sala Rihit marriages. 2. Factors that influence the existence of the authority of the Traditional Mantir in carrying out Kaharingan Hindu marriages in Tumbang Manggu Village, Sanaman Mantikei District, Katingan Regency consist of legal factors, religious factors, knowledge factors, social factors, and cultural factors. 3. The existence of the authority of the Traditional Mantir in carrying out marriages of Kaharingan Hinduism in Tumbang Manggu Village, Sanaman Mantikei District, Katingan Regency has some impacts on the community, on life, on harmony, on institutions and on family.
